Saw it, agreed with your ciiqrtue ~ enjoyed the article from the 2 of you.I was saddened at how the screen writers felt they could put the book out of order like they did islands out of order, no confromtation with the king at the first island, Eustace as a dragon was not such a hero, and we didn’t even meet Ramandu! And adding the other Pevensie’s was gratuitous. Anyway, I did apprecaite the temptation focus in the film and the way it was visualised through green smoke; that was a nice touch. Nonetheless, it left me wanting more over all. My youth [we saw it as a group together last night] also had mixed feelings about it. Those who do not know the books thought it was good, those who know the books had similar ciiqrtues as me and Jonathan have expressed. Sadly, Douglas Gresham seems to have failed at leting more of his stepdad’s truth shine through again, even after the new support of Fox and not Disney. I enjoyed the podcast with him last film [number 15] and would like it to happen again if you could post film release Ultimately, my vote is with Jonathan [even if he is a ManU fan]GO TOTTENHAM!
